Such a wholesome and adorable romance. Loved the story it felt very classic fantasy romance. Loved the fmc and thought the mmc was very dynamic and interesting. Overall a great book, wild plot twists at the end, I kept looking ahead oops LOL

In the beginning I thought this was an enemies to lovers but it was very much so a I slightly dislike him to lovers situation which is not as fun. A more watered down enemies to lovers trope. The book was written well but even the ending where it seems like it’s supposed to be a cliffhanger it’s not making me want to pick the next book up immediately. I like when a book has me wanting more and I could’ve been completely satisfied stopping at the end of this one . No massive yearning to know what happens next. Overall , it is a good story and the plot points are interesting but the point of the plot that seemed like they were supposed to be shocking were pretty predictable.
