Dance of Thieves

4.1 AVERAGE

I would have enjoyed this more if there was no cheesy romance as the overarching story. I enjoyed the world and the vastness of the types of characters, but then it cut into the “looks of desire” even though they hate each other. Too many eye rolls from me on this one.

glad i read the remnant chronicles before even though the read was average for me, def liked this series more but maybe bc there was more romance! it was nice seeing all the old characters again, got my one line of kaden crumb 😭

i can see why some people don’t like it as much though but i ate all the cheesy lines up LOL

Great setting, great characters, good plot. I was very surprised to see how early the romance started, but the cat and mouse game was enjoyable.

Will be diving into book 2 very soon!

Ok this was easily 5⭐️ I could have easily finished it in one sitting but I paced myself to enjoy it more. The descriptions felt like I was watching a movie. And let me also add I didn’t read the Remnant Chronicles but I might after Vow of Thieves!

This is a ya fantasy book and it wasn’t over the top ya with some eye-roll moments which I was so glad for (I think I’m outgrowing ya

This took me ages to finish for some reason. It's not that it wasn't good... I just wasnt that invested for some reason? Even though I adore the Kiss of Deception trilogy with all my soul. It's one of my favorites and Lia is one of my most favorite characters too so I was excited that she had some bits in this and to learn some things about how her story turned out later on, but I still didnt love this book as much as those. I did really like it though I mean I love Mary E Pearson's writing and I love this world so I did really like it. I just wasnt as excited as I wanted to be considering how much I love the trilogy. I will definitely read the next one though! I already have it haha
