So when someone says there’s a love triangle, this is the kind of love triangle I expect. It’s a reread for me, but it’s been a while since I’ve first read this series. It had me hooked until the end and it definitely got me emotional at some points throughout the book. I’m kinda sad this series is over now (again), but at least I still have the TV show.

Super fun read. I’m a sucker for a love triangle. Great for a beach day. The romance(s) are super cute and fun to read.

OH. MY. GOD. I cant believe I waited this long to read these books. In light of the show, I finally picked them up after owning them for about a year. I knew I liked Jenny Han’s writing, as I loved TATBILB, but these books blew that out of the water. Everything about these books was amazing, and I love the idea of
the infinity necklace scenes. The necklace itself was a physical reminder of Conrad’s story, and the whole theme around it make my heart ache for someone like that.
. Overall, these books made me understand empathy in a new way, and helped me realize that hurt people hurt people, and sometimes, it’s our overwhelming love for people that causes us to hurt them. P.S. I was team Jeremiah until
he pulled a Ross from Friends, which is my least favorite couple ever in the history of media.
. Cannot recommend the books enough, and now I can finally watch the show!

I love the way Jenny Han writes.
The entire series is beyond delightful. It’s refreshing.
Seeing characters just be.. human. Struggling with their own views of themselves. Two adults- mothers who are best friends and who really do just love each other.
People having complex feelings and emotions and not knowing how to deal with them.
I just loved it all! The beach setting and the writing just made me miss the beach; but it was like I could smell the ocean and feel the sand on my feet and the sun on my skin.
