A nostalgic childhood read. The version from the library is a small board book, but no less endearing than the other I remember.

Another beautifully illustrated book. I think my favorite part was just looking at the pictures.

This was such a sweet little book. The illustrations are classic looking and I loved the style of the pages being framed with side illustrations. It gave all the “aww” warm vibes. This was a really sweet board book for littles.

Jan Brett's illustration's are as beautiful as ever! I explained her use of the frame in the illustrations before I started reading the book to the kids, then used it as a predictive exercise throughout the story. The kids were very engaged!
