i thoroughly enjoyed this! my first read for the final girl book club.

Audiobook Narration: 4☆


A grotesque yet beautifully sentimental short horror story about a sweet old lady's fight against capitalism (fuck yeah!) and romance with an ancient deep sea monster (sorry I meant "creature") that assists her cause. This was creative, thrilling, and at times even a little camp! I had such a good time.

What an absolutely amazing story. I laughed, I cried, I cheered. I would recommend this to anyone, if you're OK with some pretty gnarly gore, that is.
