I really enjoyed this book mainly because I liked how the MMC acted towards the FMC. The FMC was a little bit frustrating at times but she came around. I would reread this book.
I genuinely enjoyed this book so much! This is my first Alex Aster book and it won't be my last. I was really impressed with how addictive the writing is - I was sucked into the story and did not stop reading until I was done. Elle was such a well-rounded realistic cynic of a character and I adored her! And Parker...whoa boy, he was great as well. I was swooning left and right.

the 18 month time jump before the epilogue?!?!?!!? Absolutely ridiculous. Wayyyyy too long for Elle to "get her shit together". That pissed me off for a solid two hours.

J'ai beaucoup aimé les personnages, l'histoire et New York jusqu'à environ 75-80% du livre je dirai. I loved everything about this story. At times, the FMC really bugged me with her judgements and stubbornness but ultimately it all circled around beautifully. The MMC was so unbelievably patient and loyal. I would love to see this turn into a movie.
