I loved this book. It was a bit long at times but I enjoyed it and just fell in love with the characters. I felt for Julien so many times and he deserves the world. He went through so much and to have someone who has his back and loves him unconditionally is a beautiful thing. Isaac is amazing and is so supportive and together they are perfect.

The sex scenes can be a lot for some people (but personally I did not have a problem with them, I enjoyed them) so that is something to keep in mind.

I cannot wait for the next book in the series!

Stunning

This book was a slow start for me, but oh my god did it deliver. It's not the first time LA Witt has covered this fraught topic. And with the news coming out out the NHL this year it was clearly timely. It was beautiful, and heartbreaking, and scary, and sad, and perfect. Not for the faint out heart, but so so worth it.
