Ok was convinced to read this one and it was definitely a commitment but I’m glad I did!

There’s no good way to sum up what this book is about, there’s too much, you just have to read it. If you liked the Hunger Games or Harry Potter series I would say you probably will like this too - it’s like those series but for adults and with an even further developed world that it takes place in.

Whole lot of respect for Brandon Sanderson for creating this whole world and doing it very well and very intricately. It was a 600+ page book but I never felt like I was reading unnecessary details, every page carried the story through

It was a super satisfying read too because the more you read the more everything made sense and at the end everything gets tied together in a surprising but very well done way!

Would probs take half a star away for it being pretty gory/brutal in some parts but it doesn’t take away from the story just kinda made me uncomfy personally

I will be continuing the series and shoutout to Eric and James for convincing me to start it!
