Awwwww. This was so sweet. It made my heart soft and full and reminded me of what it was like to be a child. So so good. It's one of those books that I could probably read again and again, and I think if I reread it, it'll be 5 stars instead of 4. It was just really good though, a simple yet powerful story.

“And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince
Recommend by a close friend( Gadriel) as their favourite book of all time, 'the Little Prince' is a stunning children's novel which reckons with one of my go to themes in literature: the divide between childhood and adulthood, what is lost and gained in the midst of that exchange. This quietly moving apologue contends with philosophical questions humanity is yet to resolve with a childlike wonder putting into perspective the value of the method over supposed answers. What you put into taking care of the rose matters more than where the rose comes from or its uniqueness. Our lives tend to follow a similar path.
Did not think I would be in a mess of tears at the end but here I am. What a perfect children's books or book in general .

I don't care how old I am or how much more I shall age, I will read The Little Prince every year in December and love the small boy as I loved him from the very beginning
