This book was more action packed than the previous two and the bullying was finally explained. Which made the book make more sense rather than thinking it was a pointless addition. I really enjoyed the things they found out and what was revealed. It was a better read and I’m so sad that the ending was so freakin short. I mean I know every detail of the feather blade buildings but that’s all we get for the ending? Ugh. Rude.

This is the stunning conclusion to Eliza Raine's Flame Cursed Fae series, and it does not disappoint. The book is fast-paced and features adventure, magic, and family betrayal. The character growth is on point, and the relationship (Whew, it's hot) is hot.
This book takes place at the Featherblade School for Valkyries. Maddy is training to be a Valkyrie warrior, and Kain is a cursed Fae prince who loves her deeply. Kain gives strong "touch her and die" moments in this book. Maddy gets stronger and stands up for herself repeatedly throughout the book. She grows into a strong woman who doesn't need a man but gets one anyway.
There were a couple of minor typos, but overall, it was well worth the read. Eliza Raine is one of my favorite authors. She writes really strong characters, and her wording draws me into the story.
Read this book series if you want a fae romance, a strong FMC, diverse characters, unexpected villains, and drama.
Quote:
"Princess, I've been fighting falling in love with you since the week you got here."
"Did you win?"
"It's the only fight I've ever lost."

VERY disappointed in this read. I have raved and raved about book 1&2. They were SO good. The writing and world building was fantastic in the first two books. In this book, the writing style changed. The writing became immature and juvenile. There were several times i just gawked at a paragraph bc it was so bad. I’m glad the story ended well, but it took a lot to power through that writing.

The romance was rushed and the story line was predictable. However, I did enjoy the story for the most part. I am glad it ended here as I would probably not have read another one.
