Alpha was hot & intense. Beta had a suspense intensity. Omega had some of the hot intensity as well as suspense intensity. Omega ended the series on a HEA.

Enjoyed Layla and Nick's story quite a bit. Wish they had their own series of books.

3.5 Stars

Omega is the final book in a series that started with Alpha and continued with Beta. Alpha was a smoking hot fairytale type erotica that wasn’t a fave of mine from this author, but Beta… that I loved. It was dark, thrilling and amazing. Compared to Alpha and Beta, Omega fell somewhere in the middle. After the boundary pushing grittiness of Beta, Omega was a bit of a disappointment but it was also a nice surprise. With plenty of action, sex, and a surprising amount of humor, Omega brings this series to a close in a way that I wasn't expecting. This is the wrap-up of Roth and Kyrie's story that most wanted after finishing Beta, and it's also the telling of the sexy and thrilling love story that develops between Harris and Layla - two characters that I loved from the previous books. I know a lot of people had mixed feelings about this series, so my advice on whether to read it is if you loved Alpha more than Beta then you'll love Omega; but if you loved Beta more than you loved Alpha, then you'll like Omega. Full review to come...

Why did I take so long to pick this book up?!?!? Honestly Alpha and Beta were amazing and I should have expected nothing less from Omega. In this installment we pick up right where Roth and Kyrie picked up on a yacht in the middle of nowhere. They are still on the run from Vitaly but they've been joined by Layla (Kyrie's best friend) for the first half of the book it's about the relationship these characters have under such stressful circumstances but just as things seem to be settling down a little all hell breaks loose and Layla is kidnapped from their little island paradise. And THAT is where things get very interesting. Vitaly brings Layla to him as a way to lure Kyrie out of hiding so they torture her. However he definitely underestimates Layla. Through a series of events that literally left me cringing on the edge of my seat she escapes and is rescued by Harris (Roth's head of security) As the two make their way back to safety they have to battle not only the bad guys killers and thugs after them but also the mounting attraction between them. I could not get enough of this book. The story was compelling and sexy with more than a little bit of danger. Layla's tough exterior and Harris's hidden inner tenderness makes them a joy to watch unfold. 5 well deserved stars for Jasinda Wilder and Omega.

The final book in the Alpha series sees the story moving from just Valentine and Kyrie and Harris to more of Kyrie and Layla and Harris. Long story short, Kyrie and Layla were nabbed off the island of solitude that Valentine had moved them all to. It was right before the wedding (or after?) when some baddies manage to get on the island that was heavily guarded by Alpha One Security (Harris' newly created security firm). Layla and Kyrie are sent to parts unknown. The story follows Kyrie (and since this review is two years since the last time I read the book, forgive me for not remembering too much). What I can say is that Layla gets her own POV for at least half of the book while we follow her capture, and subsequent escape from baddies in a South American country, all the while Harris is trying to get he back using the guys who he enlisted from his firm.

I laughed so hard at Layla's ability to keep cool and badassed under pressure, and her ingenuity and flat out take no holds way of ensuring her escape. She made the hard and quick decisions without hesitation or squeamishness. She was quick to realize that her situation was going to take resourcefulness and intelligence to get through. She made use of all she had available to her, and trust me, it wasn't much. Props to Jasinda for actually making a bic pen hold such humor/horror for Layla (and the reader).

Harris and Layla feature heavily as they both run towards and away from each other and danger. Layla managed to stay one step ahead of the baddies, while Harris was one step behind her. I can't for the life of me remember Kyrie's part of the story. I need to reread this book :)

This book sets up the next sereies Alpha One.

I liked it and found it to be a satisfying conclusion to the Valentine/Kyrie arc, while setting up the Alpha One series.

All in all, an enjoyable series, wrapped up in a nice now with Omega. If you want deep, this isn't it. If you want sheet-clutching sex and a modicum of characters, then dive right in.

Weird, the story changed at 50% and left the main characters in the dust until 97%.

even though I loves this series I was so disappointed in the fact hat this last book was more about Layla and Harris. and not Key and Roth. As soon a we get the good parts and we don't get anything about them until the end. Like what happened with Cal and The reaction of Key finding out she's pregnant, or her telling Roth, or anything. It's like The author just thought well thats done and instead of finishing the book she dropped them and came back to the end with"OH yeah I have these other characters I need to end their story... oops.." I feel like, Layla and Harris's story could have been an epilogue or extra bit at the end. It felt very rushed and unsatisfying. I loved this trilogy, until it completely changed main characters, The author could have made another duology or trilogy with just their (Layla and Harris) and I would have jumped on that! but she didn't and I wasn't satisfied with it at all.
