As always Frieda’s books are quick reads, and I devour them. This book in particular made me cringe at the way she depicted mental health- aka anyone and everyone with these struggles are “crazy.” I assume it can be hard to write books that are based on psych/mental health, but I feel there must be more research done on the topic (AND also how to create a fictional story without casting mental health disorders in a negative light). You’d think as a physician she’d know this………………

Also the whole code to get in and out of ward d was not believable- and the fact they couldn’t contact ANYONE else in the building? That just didn’t seem realistic.
dark mysterious fast-paced

Once again punished with the awkward writing, nonsensical plottwists, and the simultaneous flat and stupid characters of McFadden imagination :/

This felt like a bad horror movie but in sort of a good way? I just really didn’t like the main character but still a quick and easy read. Had me hooked and didn’t see the ending coming.
