This book was so confusing, could have been half the length, the fatphobia was WILDLY inappropriate. Interesting premise wish it was executed differently.

Best book I've read in years!! The twists, the multiple POVs, the betrayals, the confusion in my brain *chef's kiss*

I had no idea what was happening until the very end and was so confused most of the time. Usually I forsee how the plot will develop, so a book that manages to keep me clueless until the very end ranks very highly in my books (pun not intended).

The jumping betwen POVs was a bit confusing, but if you think about it this is exactly how Aiden felt every morning. I loved the jumping back to the butler and how it sometimes presented clues, but other times caused even more confusion. It was particularly intriguing to see the interaction between the butler and the final host 😬😳.

It did cross my mind what the true nature of this "world" is but I absolutely did not see the revelation of who killed Evelyn 🤯. To be honest, I don't think there were any clues to it, so you might need to be a psychic to see it coming.

If my TBR pile was not higher than the Empire State Building I would probably re-read it straight away.

This was close to being a 4 to 5 star read for me. I loved it the first 350ish pages. However, I hated the ending so much. What was that??? What kinda resolution is that???
Why was Anna such an awful person in real life? The fact that she literally tortured and killed the main character's sister???? How was I supposed to feel for her after that? It just ruined the book for me.
I'm giving it this rating for the rest of the book.
