Since meeting Nikolai in Destroy Me, which YOU DO NOT have to read to understand this book, he had me so freaking intrigued. And Abigail who I absolutely adored.
Abbie is so sassy and so happy go lucky. She always tries to make the best of every situation she finds herself in. She always sees the bright side of things.
The things that come out of her mouth and her comebacks are spontaneous and epic.
Nikolai is absolutely her opposite. No nonsense, strict and controlling.
It’s like he carries the weight of the world on his shoulders and has no time for lightheartedness.
Until one twenty two year old young lady comes barreling into his thirty nine year old controlled world.

This book was good for the first 50% then slowly went down hill and became boring. I will still give it 4 stars.

When I tell you this woman brings out of every emotion in story. Have tissue on standby. Nikolai and Abbie story is here, and omg! It's both cute and sad. The trauma we kinda saw in Destroy Me we find out first hand. I do recommend reading the Sinners series and the Saint series as there are things that will be spoiled, but these are standalones. I can't wait for the next book.
Abbie and Nikolai were all fire and full of steam, and they delivered! I'm so happy that they got their HEA after what Abbie went through!
