If you are deciding between formats, choose the audiobook. It’s an exquisite narrator and performance. The scratch of the recordings in interviews submerges you more into the world.
The characters from book 1 get more fleshed out, including Ravi and Nat da Silva. And there are more characters, too!
Pip’s grappling with her own sense of Justice is really fascinating, but the best part of this book is the commentary on inter generational trauma.
Unlike book 1, the ending of this one doesn’t feel finished. I’m soooo excited for book 3.
Okay also Ravi is one of my favorite characters. Ever.
