Missed potential. Good book but, they both were slightly delusional. Bella more than Mickey. Once again rooting for a toxic/touch and die male.

The start of this book was promising but I feel like around the 70% mark it fell kinda flat for me. I was expecting more dark elements to it based on the trigger warning but it felt very surface level with the dark elements.

Roman was a walking golden retriever wearing a rottweiler costume. He was slightly unhinged and I was waiting for him to be full blown wacky and it just never hit for me.

I felt there was a bit too much focus on Bella's internal "should I forgive him? Should I not?" And it felt like a lot of it just made the plot drag.

This felt like a wattpad book but not in a good way
Don’t get me wrong i’m a dark romance girlie till the day i die but THIS???? No.
Bella i found so bloody annoying, all she did was whine for 300 pages then call it a day.
And don’t get me started on calling Roman fucking Mickey. MICKEY????
Okay mr mouse i see you.
Yeah it was fun ish to read but not an omg this has shifted the course of my life.
