Brothels and pleasure houses are mentioned often - one of the main characters was kidnapped and trafficked into one of the houses in her past and it comes up in her storyline - I don’t remember any graphic or detailed descriptions of her past but it does come up multiple times in the book.

“Six of Crows” is one of my favorite books. I fell in love with the characters and honestly they have well thought out backstories. Some parts are a bit confusing and it’s a little hard to get into but I think it makes up for it in the rest. 
Also - a lot of the world building doesn’t make as much sense without reading the “Shadow and Bone” trilogy first but it’s not necessary in any way.
