Beautiful watercolor work!
Another book revolving around the questioning of an AI's humanity.
Very well done.
It is pairing well with me watching "Raised By Wolves Season 2"

Nachdenklicher Comic über eine "Menschheit" und ihre Angst vor Robotern.
I was surprised by the style and design of Descender. Even though the story is a bit cliche so far the art and coloring is amazing. The graphics are vibrant and of high contrast. The artist uses a special level of detail technique that draws your attention to the important bits in the frame. This happens by leaving background parts of strips unfinished and uncolored to a great effect.
After another go, the art grew on me this time. Still not ideal, but it works ok with the very fun story. I am hooked.
Compelling world building that leaves me with a feeling of wanting to know more.
Oh this is such a great start to the story. I am so intrigued.
Even though the basic plot is quite old, human vs robot, the watercolour art is so beautiful, the robot so endearing, the story so intriguing that I will probably pick up the next this month.

A great first volume. 10 years ago, giant robots appeared and killed billions of people, then mysteriously disappeared. In the present day, the tiny boy robot on the cover may have answers to where they came from and how to stop them if they come back. It's like The Big O meets Mass Effect meets Astro Boy.
