Before reading “The World’s Fair Quilt” I took the opportunity to read a prior book in the series that referenced the 1933 World’s Fair Quilt submission.

While I appreciated getting to learn more about the Elm Creek Quilters, this was not my favorite book in the series.

I get why these are so popular. Simple. Happy feelings. Fluff, but soft and warm fluff.

I thought the title was misleading - this really wasn't about Sylvia. I did enjoy the viewpoints of the different Elm Creek Quilters, but disliked how it was done. The secrecy seemed overdone and this just wasn't my favorite in the series. Now to find a quilt book to look up some of the pattern blocks mentioned. I like how the hardcovers have pictures but I read this in paperback.

I love this series! This was an interesting one as the story was told from different characters points of view and each character got to tell their side/experience of the same story line. This is the 1st one that took place in the present day and didn’t have the historical fiction ties others in the series have had. Times are changing at Elm Creek and will be interesting to see how the story of these women unfolds.

Easy charming read. A little repetitive with the story from each woman.

Still loving this series about the Elm Creek Quilters! This one focused on changes within the group and even had a little element of mystery going on. Love it!

Another great installment of The Elm Creek Quilters Series... enjoyed it very much.

Not sure of any of the dates of when I've read this series, just know I've read them all. Loved the entire series!
