It had a lot to accomplish in a short amount of time but I feel like it set things up pretty well. I was hoping for a more dramatic ending like the town people dying or building being swallowed into the earth or something but it was ok. Wish there was a little bit more explanation of the deal and why this had to happen

Fantastic cover; passable book. If the Goodreads Gods allowed for it this would be the definition of a 2.5 rating. Still, the concept is pretty cool and I'll probably check out the film adaptation if it ever actually comes out.
