I still don’t know about the writing style. It was different. I also don’t know if the stuff that happened in the book should be a plot twist because it didn’t feel like one.
Idk what to tell you the story was good I guess but kinda predictable

perfect halloween or october book, it was dark at times but still felt like a great quick story to read to put u in a halloween mood, only wish they explained more of the lore behind october boy so he felt more scary. loved how the language captured autumn perfect in this town w dark secrets.

Dark turned out to be one of my favorite books so far this month for me. I enjoyed the creepy Halloween and fall vibe of the book.

It's takes place in a small midwestern town, that has a special Halloween tradition. All the 16 to 18 year old's have kill the Pumpkin Headed Monster before midnight.

I loved the quick pace of this well written book. Starting of a bit slow, but by the end book you are the edge of your seat and can't stop reading. I loved the ending to this book it was very satisfying.
