I was so excited for this Shakespeare retelling. Adding in the autistic main character made me want to love it even more. But unfortunately I didn’t love this one. It did have parts I thoroughly enjoyed, but I was so frustrated with the characters and especially how the 3rd act breakup was handled it didn’t quite hit the mark for me.
I like the idea of this story, but oh my I didn't like the characters (they're SO mean they're almost nasty), I did not like the sex scenes, and I just couldn't get behind anyone's actions. But if you want 'real' or 'real-ish' people falling in love give this a go, but I personally missed the fun that I've seen in other romances.

I liked this one, because I love a Shakespeare retelling. Jamie and Bea were cute together.
The third act conflict was so bad and so dumb. Like it made no sense. And I hated Juliet, she was a bad sister through our the whole story. I'm hoping that she's written better in her book

I loved seeing Jamie and Bea’s enemies to fake relationship to actual lovers develop throughout the book. Jamie is a dream who is so understanding and gentle with Bea when she needs it most. I just wish there wasn’t a breakup towards the end, it felt so quick and unnecessary to the plot.

I loved this book so much! The perfect amount of enemies to friends to lovers. The banter was perfect. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series!
