I devoured this in one day.
So much angst, tension, heartbreak, spice, and those little dashes of humour.
Celeste and Zane's story has to be one of my favourite, from Pt 1 that was almost their own prequel novella, to the sheer tragedy that initiates their downfall.
“I hate her with all I am,” I whisper, my eyes closed. “No,” Lex says, his voice soft. “You don’t. And that’s the problem, isn’t it?”
And doesn't that say it all!

Too much was happening and not enough. They got on my nerves and honestly I was getting tired of the author's writing skills like please do something new. Moreover I didn't just like the couple and the grandma. She is an absolute bitch but I guess they all got the happening ending so why not. I also plan on trying to read it again maybe later and not dnf it

The power of love displayed from the pov of both characters throughout the book was beautiful. This book broke my heart into pieces and then put every part back into place, amazing read.

I have read 3 of the 4 Windsor stories so far (I still have not read Raven and Ares but that will change soon) I personally think that this is one of the best I have read yet. Zane and Celeste have such a dynamic and fractured relationship that the development and growth that they make towards the end of the novel brought me so much joy! One of my favorite things that Catharina Maura does is she includes the families into the plot and the relationships. That made me incredibly emotional when you see the hurt the siblings went through along with Zane and Celeste! I cannot express how much I adore this series!
