I’m so torn on this one! It started off so sweet. Almost too perfect. I was actually getting bored and thinking “oh my gosh I’m not even 40% through it!”  I almost DNF, but I really hate doing that.

I was shocked with the twist. Can honestly say I didn’t see that coming. My interest was peaked again. While I liked the ending and a more realistic story showing troubles and insecurities that needed to be worked on, I felt that it dragged a little long to get to that point.

Overall, good book. Just a bit of a roller coaster.

While these characters eventually made up, throughout the majority of the book it felt entirely hopeless. And while that was probably intentional, I still felt like they should’ve just called it. And this was one of those books that had no right to have that much spice, and not the good kind. It almost felt like they didn’t actually love each other as people.

DNF - 35%

I was so bored reading this book and I couldn’t even make it to the 50% mark… it just feels like nonsense is happening like nothing truly was happening and every chapter just felt like a scene. I didn’t feel the chemistry between this characters like what do they have in commons besides being rich???? And what happened to the enemies to lovers?? It was enemies for about 5% (not really tho) and then it just jumps into them being into a relationship and in love without any type of explanation or conversation about them being rivals. And that lame apology for bullying her?? UNACCEPTABLE!

I already spoiled the book for myself and if Zane can’t forgive her for that issue when she literally forgave him for BULLYING her for YEARS then that says a lot about him as a person.

I’ll try to read the other books in the series but this was bad and I couldn’t read any more of it.
