This was just okay. I really loved Matt, but Lana drove me crazy. She felt too woe-is-me. And I get that what happened when she was in college totally affected it. But it had been 5 years. Time to get past it lady. I also thought she blew a certain thing WAY out of proportion. But the epilogue was really sweet. Full review soon.
Wow...... just wow! This book was amazing but how could it not be when we get nothing but perfection from Louise's words. I devoured this book because I couldn't put it down but still trying to savor each page not wanting it to end to soon. Matt and Lana were incredible together and so was the chemistry they shared. Lana was a small town girl content with her life and the direction it was going, as for Matt, he was a Hollywood star that was trying to lay low and stay out of trouble from his bad boy ways. Grab this PHENOMENAL read as soon as possible, it will captivate you just like it did me!
The narration was outstanding!
Story was great, even when my heart was sun my throat! Wonderful HEA with a believable romance.

Audio book review.
A dirty romp of a predictable romance between a small town girl with a past and a Hollywood movie star with a reputation. I like the characters and feel like they are not so cliché. I approve of the female character actually standing up for herself and arguing her points instead of deferring to the super hot guy, even when there's a chance she'll lose him. Overall, an okay book but I can tell I'm not going to remember the details. Aside from the fact that the author thinks a man can smell like he's trustworthy. Haha!

Oh have I been sleeping on this author! I have collected many of her books but this is the first one I have actually got to read and now I just want to devour her other works. In this story we have Lana, who is an independent woman that has moved back to her home town after a traumatic event in during college. She is making a life for herself and renting out a house in her small town in Maine. Matt is this Hollywood star that needs to keep his nose clean while he is filming near Maine so his agent rents Lana house to keep him on the straight and narrow. Lana and Matt have a chance meeting when she warns him about the dangers of standing on a metal bandstand during a rain storm. She has no clue who he is and he is intrigued by the fact she doesn't make a huge deal about him being a movie star. They get to know each other on a different level until that connection is tested.
I read this book for #smutathon challenge - different worlds.

Sweet favorite
I've read this story some time ago,but I re-read and remembered how sweetly perfect it was. I love the backdrop of a sleeper town in Maine. I'm petrified of thunderstorms so it's nice to read about those that enjoy them lol. Great fast read, connection with the characters and hot sex!!!
