Torn... Some good and some bad.
There were a lot of really cute things in this story, but also a lot of things that irked me. I kept reading, so they obviously didn't ruin the story, but I wasn't able to forget about them either. Things like grammatical errors, missing words, and not addressing contraception after not being together for 10 years but then having sex. I mean, who does that?!! I know it's just fiction, but that just didn't sit well with me. Overall, I liked the story. I just think it could use some extra proofreading.

Love, heartbreak, betrayal, promises and steam - this book has all that and much more. Poppy and Keir's story was an easy read that reeled me in and kept me reading to the wee hours of the morning. I'm a huge sucker for a HEA and this book had the sweetest ending ever! I can't wait for Elliot's story
For a debut author, Emma Louise has written a fantastic book!
Score is a second-chance story of Keir and Poppy. They had dated in college, but when Keir was drafted into the NFL, they are forced apart. Poor communication and bad assumptions ruin their relationship. But ten years later, they run into each other when they have both moved back to Savannah. And while they both still have strong feelings for the other, trust is a difficult thing to rebuild. But they are determined to work at it.
Score was very well-written. The main characters were likeable- and the side characters were supportive. The plot was well-developed. I see a lot of promise with this author! And I look forward to reading more of her (looking forward to Elliot's story!!)!

Score is a sweet, heart-warming, second-chance story that has all the elements for a great romance read. Second chances are one of my favourite genres, and this is definitely one of the best I have ever read.
This intensely emotional read is so wonderfully well written with characters who are just so engaging, likeable and so easy to fall in love with them. An unfortunate misunderstanding leads to deceit and heartbreak, leaving Poppy and Keir devastated and alone to pick up the pieces. They go through ten years of life apart, just going through the motions. But then fate steps in and by chance they meet again. It is evident that the love is still there. Their undeniable bond, the chemistry and the passion between these two sizzles off the pages. I truly loved and felt everything about Poppy and Keir’s relationship. The love, the downfalls, the sparks, the determination to get back what they had. This story had so much emotion to it and I actually felt the journey right along with Poppy and Keir. I also loved the fact that the secondary characters were all so amazing that I’m hoping for their stories as well! I was so enthralled and transfixed with this story and the epilogue was delightful.
I'm so looking forward to Elliot and Duke’s story and this will certainly not be my last Emma Louise book.

are some women really that desperate and insecure???
I am reading this series because I always like to read something romantic, light and fluffy while going into a heavy dark book
I did not hate it
but did not like it also
it's going to be one of those forgettable books
The H thinks the h cheated on him so he reciprocates without confronting her first
she finds out and leaves but not before she comes back, asks him (get this!) "if it was something she did that pushed him to cheat"?????? seriously, then she has a quicky with him and leaves him
10 years later they meet, he says sorry I want to try again, she immediately says yes
have some self-respect girl, let him grovel a little. Sure he sent flowers FOR ONE WEEK, BUT come on!!!.
And I absolutely hate the "meddling friend/brother" Trope, you know the one that pushes and pushes to make the h forget the past so she gets back with the H
I do not want a friend like that
I want a friend who would give me a gun and help me bury his body

Score is a sweet, clean romance for NA audience. The length is short. The audiobook is only about 5 hours. The theme is second chance romance.
The plot, the twist is kept to minimum. So do not expect too much drama in it. Miss Louise should keep something more kick into the story so it would be more interesting.
Overall, I enjoyed the book OK.

I read this book because I signed up for reading the second book in this series.
I didn’t know what to expect, but oh my goodness, I didn’t expect this. So much love, hurt, feelings, joy and laughter as well!
Beautifully written story. Absolutely great. I loved it from the beginning to the end. It’s capturing, interesting, makes you want to read until the end.
Thank you!

I love second chance romances and especially one when even if the couples have to carry on with their life ,when they get to see each other they realise that the feelings for each other never died.
Such a great choice for naming these characters Kier and Poppy ,they fit so well. When they are young and full of dreams for your future you thing everything is going to be fine and have everything sorted out,but a long distance relationship it surely is not easy to keep and after a lot of misunderstandings the couple have to separate and each one to carry on with their life. After ten years they are back in the same city and of course the sparkle is still there because the first love can never be forgotten and Kier will do anything and everything to win Poppy back.I like him,i was mad at him for breaking her heart but at the end he suffered as well and i like how the author described him with all his flaws and insecurities.Poppy is a strong woman that won't give her heart again to Kier because she is afraid to loose it again but after all the things he is trying to prove that he is wort of her heart she accept her life and won't miss this chance at a happily ever after with the only man she ever loved.
Written in both POV (which i love),with great secondary characters that hopefully will have their own stories, this book is perfect for any romance reader who love a second chance story.
