Perfect second chance romance! The story was great and character development was detailed. The only thing I have a problem with was I wanted a little more backstory. More of them falling in the first time! But it is a story that hits you in the feels!
First, how is this Emma Louise’s first book? How? Score is a second chance romance that left me in awe of this first time author and definitely excited for more of her work!

I truly love everything about Poppy and Keir’s relationship. The love, the downfall, the sparks, the determination to get back to what once was...everything. This story had so much feeling to it and I enjoyed taking the journey right along with Poppy and Keir! I have to say I also love the fact that the secondary characters were so amazing that I’m hoping for their stories as well!
Mark my words, Emma Louise is going to do BIG things and Score is just the very start of it! Congrats on an amazing book!

A sweet short read. I love second chance romances. While their reunion felt a little rushed, I still enjoyed it.
So this is my first ever read from this author and well I loved it. The relationship between poppy and Keir is beautiful. Yes they had ups and downs but so does everyone and I seriously fell in love with this couple

In this second chance romance, my feels had feels. There were times I couldn't stop from smiling, and then there were those other times where my heart was pitter pattering in anticipation at what was going to happen next. I was a nervous wreck and kept wondering what was in store, but at the same time I couldn't wait.
Poppy and Keir met in college and fall in love. Everything was set. From Keir entering the NFL and going to play in Seattle and Poppy finishing her last year of college and then following Keir after graduation. A year, it was only a year and then they'd be together again. They knew that they would survive because their relationship was strong enough. But lack of communication and misunderstandings ultimately was their undoing and the end of their relationship.
10 years later....and Poppy finds herself face-to-face with the guy who broke her heart all those years ago. Stunned, and not wanting to be in his presence, she does the only thing she can do, she runs.
Keir knows he messed up. And once he sees Poppy again after many years have passed, his feelings for her have never gone away. And he knows without a doubt he'll do anything and everything to get her back.
At first, I was so angry at Keir. I thought the worst of him, but as the story progressed I got answers to questions I had, and everything started to make sense. My mind changed and I saw Keir in a different light. All the wooing he did and the fact that he didn't give up in his pursuit to win Poppy back had me rooting so hard for him.
Poppy and Keir had a lot to work through. It wasn't easy for Poppy to just forget everything that happened. And I really liked that she took her time to think everything through and didn't just jump right back into a relationship as if nothing happened. But when your soul is connected and your heart is linked to another person like Poppy's is to Keir's, it's no wonder that they're made for each other. And it wasn't a question of "if" they'd work it out, it was when.
Emma, give me all your words, I want them all. I want all the books! This is your first book, really? Could've fooled me. I was transfixed and couldn't get enough of Poppy and Keir. I didn't want this book to end. Bravo, I'm giving you a round of applause. Oh, and I can't wait for Elliott's book. I had a feeling that it might go that way, but I wasn't sure. And I can't wait for her story. And oh my gosh, Duke is the freaking sweetest and I want so much more of him. And please please please I neeeeed more of TJ and Lucy. Gahhhhhh, I want their story so bad! Again, Score was amazing, and I can't wait for what's to come.

I'm so glad I got the chance to receive and ARC copy of this book and it was really an honor to be part of Emma's beginning and man what a beginning, I truly adore this book it was such a sweet beautiful story with and equally sweet and beautiful H that completely stole my heart.
This was a really well written second chance story. Keir (love that name btw) and Poppy's love story was meant to be just not at the time they thought and dream it would be. It would take them years but once they see each other again there's no stopping what was meant to be ♡
Now I'll be here praying to the writing gods to bless Emma with all the words because I fell in love also with secondary characters and I really hope to read a story for them.

Score is a sweet, heart-warming, second-chance story that has all the elements for a great romance read. Second chances are one of my favourite genres, and this is definitely one of the best I have ever read.
This intensely emotional read is so wonderfully well written with characters who are just so engaging, likeable and so easy to fall in love with them. An unfortunate misunderstanding leads to deceit and heartbreak, leaving Poppy and Keir devastated and alone to pick up the pieces. They go through ten years of life apart, just going through the motions. But then fate steps in and by chance they meet again. It is evident that the love is still there. Their undeniable bond, the chemistry and the passion between these two sizzles off the pages. I truly loved and felt everything about Poppy and Keir’s relationship. The love, the downfalls, the sparks, the determination to get back what they had. This story had so much emotion to it and I actually felt the journey right along with Poppy and Keir. I also loved the fact that the secondary characters were all so amazing that I’m hoping for their stories as well! I was so enthralled and transfixed with this story and the epilogue was delightful.
I'm so looking forward to Elliot and Duke’s story and this will certainly not be my last Emma Louise book.
