Score is a sweet, heart-warming, second-chance story that has all the elements for a great romance read. Second chances are one of my favourite genres, and this is definitely one of the best I have ever read.

This intensely emotional read is so wonderfully well written with characters who are just so engaging, likeable and so easy to fall in love with them. An unfortunate misunderstanding leads to deceit and heartbreak, leaving Poppy and Keir devastated and alone to pick up the pieces. They go through ten years of life apart, just going through the motions. But then fate steps in and by chance they meet again. It is evident that the love is still there. Their undeniable bond, the chemistry and the passion between these two sizzles off the pages. I truly loved and felt everything about Poppy and Keir’s relationship. The love, the downfalls, the sparks, the determination to get back what they had. This story had so much emotion to it and I actually felt the journey right along with Poppy and Keir. I also loved the fact that the secondary characters were all so amazing that I’m hoping for their stories as well! I was so enthralled and transfixed with this story and the epilogue was delightful.

I'm so looking forward to Elliot and Duke’s story and this will certainly not be my last Emma Louise book.

Very good for apparently a 1st novel, I wouldn't have realised.
Second chance.
Split due to seeing a photograph the Hero thinks the heroine is with someone else. The Hero and heroine are having a long distance relationship.
Hero gets drunk and details are vague but he is in bed with another woman next morning, he says they didn't have sex but they must have shared some intimacy from the very vague description the night before.
Heroine makes a surprise visit to the Hero the morning after leading to them splitting up.
They reconnect 10 years later.
The Hero has been with others during the separation and the heroine says she dated but no details.
There are other women talking about him in bed, overheard by the heroine but the Hero says he wasn't with any of them. So ex drama.
Secondary characters drop breadcrumbs for possible future storylines.
I did think that it was interesting the Hero felt maybe they would have struggled to last during their separation anyway as they were living different lives and his career scene at the time would have been difficult for her.
The heroine had some inferiority issues which didn't help their relationship.
HEA
Epilogue.

Score by Emma Louise is a second chance, sports romance standalone told by both Keir and Poppy’s POVs, with tonnes of sexual tension and a HEA.
Wow. This was a nice little surprise package. It had some great and engaging leads and some interesting support characters, a good story which was well written.
I’m not a huge fan of second chance romances but I found that I couldn’t put this book down.
I really hope to read more from this author in the future.

Second chances in Savannah!

This was a very well written second chance romance, between college lovers Keir & Poppy. Keir is off to play pro football in another state, and Poppy is finishing her senior year of college. Keir is confident they will last, but Poppy thinks it’s the beginning of the end. Fast forward 10 years, and it seems that Poppy was right.... or was she?

I really enjoyed this read. It’s dual POV, and bounces from the past to the present a bit, but the author does a good job keeping it easy to read. It’s a bit of a slow build burn, but once it’s hot.. it’s hot. These two have a bit of an angsty road to end of their story, but it’s oh so good. The side characters you will definitely fall for. Enjoyed Elliott so much, and can’t wait for even more from her as well.

This is a great read from someone I can’t believe is a debut author. Great job, and can’t wait to see what else is to come!

It was a quick read but overall it was pretty boring

So this is my first ever read from this author and well I loved it. The relationship between poppy and Keir is beautiful. Yes they had ups and downs but so does everyone and I seriously fell in love with this couple
