I always feel weird when rating/reviewing memoirs because it's so personal and what am I even rating?? I think it's a great book to recommend to someone who has lost their partner.

as a ya who has not experienced considerable loss, this book was not for me ! mainly bc of its structure .. or lack of - i get that the structure may lend to the experience of loss, but i j didnt rly enjoy it
