If you want more than like 20-30% of the book to be actual fantasy then this ain’t the one. Also if you’d like the MMC chapters to show he has more than one singular thought in his brain (about banging the FMC) then this also ain’t the one.
But, if you just want to hit the most popular tropes, with heavy on the romance, and very little on world building/magic systems then this is a solid choice. The writing is fine! The characters are also fine. The romance is a slow burn. I could definitely see it being a good fit depending on your expectations (unlike some romantasy which is just objectively really bad).

1.5 spice
It gripped me at go and never let up. Great writing, great dialog, great banter, great tension, great action. I love the FMC and her fierce determination to achieve her life's goal. Nothing will stand in her way not even the man she may be falling in love with. The banter is lovely. The rivals trying to end her and her friends is an added point in the action. The tension and slow burn only for it to be halted...chef's kiss!
The MMC is brutal and unyielding but she's tearing his walls down. He sees how determined she is and lifts her up. Stands beside her. Sees her for herself.
I'm hooked and ready to binge the rest of the series.

It’s giving the Wish version of The Witcher? It’s giving no chemistry? It’s giving stale? It’s giving grammatically incorrect? I’m sorry, but this was bad :( I think the ideas are great, but it unfortunately all fell so so flat for me.
