I really thought Rena poison cup was going to come up in this book. Also thought at least one of Kip Or Cal was going to be killed but instead it was Lacken who wasn’t too relevant. I liked the friendship. There was a good amount of yearning between Thea and Wilder. The revelation that she had Lightning magic wasn’t a very big deal. I’m curious how her dying at 27 will play into everything to come. She will fulfill the project and bring death at some point but why.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Easy read but perhaps to the point that the plot was too simple and predictable. Not entirely convinced by the characters either and the dialogue felt very YA at times, but didn’t dislike it enough to not give book 2 a chance.

2⭐️ what the goofiness is this book. Yh I can’t remeber everything apart from some stuff. I rent I weird like dementor? And two funny guys who actually cracked me up.
