I actually hated this. We're now two books after Network Effect, and I'm more sure that Murderbot should have ended then. Fugitive Telemetry was fine, but this sucks. Nothing is compelling, Murderbot's weird issue feels like a total asspull and makes no sense. None of the side characters are worth a shit. Why would you cut Three out of the story? It's such a weird choice considering how this is a direct sequel to NE. So much of this book feels like extreme padding. Why was this longer than the typical Murderbot novella? You cut this down by 60 pages and it could have been tolerable (maybe), but I just don't know. At this point the series is spinning its wheels far past its expiration date.

For me this was but as enjoyable as the earlier books but I do love Murderbot and Art.
