Refreshingly different but an exhausting read! The tone is stacatto, and I wasn't always convinced by Rhiannon's motivations, she had a contradictory and implausible drive to be conventional. But who knows how serial killers' minds work. And it's a nice change to have a proudly, defiantly angry heroine. It reads like chick lit but stabby, and I mean that as a compliment.
i was so loving this until she got pregnant. after that idk it just felt a bit like the author didn’t know what to do so she put in all this stuff at the end but still this was really good. definitely one for people who like caroline kepners ‘you’
