This book is horrible. I watched the show so I had high hopes but I’ve never been happier that a program just took the general themes from a text. Not only is this poorly written, but there is ableism, fatphobia, racism, and some very very very weird discussions of sexual violence. I got pretty far but eventually my stubbornness wasn’t strong enough and I had to give up. Especially don’t reccomend to anybody else with OCD — it is an intrusive thoughts playground. Ick ick ick ick.

More like a 3.75 - found this really interesting and pretty addictive but I’m not sure I care enough to read the rest of the series. Excited to watch the show though!

yeah no. this book has SOOO much potential but fell flat in my opinion. like don’t make the vigilante that kills sexual predators be borderline necrophilic, it’s that simple. it’s uncomfy and unnecessary, and also… why is her subconscious voice her fucking baby…

I liked the very British details of everyday life mixed in with the almost comical murders. It was a good read for its genre - I just don’t think female serial killers living normal lives is the genre for me.
