I'm torn between a 4 and a 5. I truly loved being inside the head of a psychopath. It was just fun and shocking and vulgar and violent and a fun listen.

But also...not a ton happened? And it was kind of long? Like, I enjoyed the vignettes but also kept hoping for maybe something more.

And I didn't love Rhiannon seeming to have a change of heart when she got pregnant. I know she ultimately killed again but the whole "being a mom can change anyone" thing left a weird taste in my mouth.

That said, I really enjoyed it and will probably continue in the series.

Started off really enjoying the book but did start to get really annoyed with the main character but I guess that is the point. Unsure if I’ll read others in the series, I do enjoy the way it’s written though.
