I enjoyed this! Super readable, although not very beautiful translation of a genuinely fun story. It's always nice to read ancient/folktale adjacent things that my far-back ancestors might have been told.

While I love any reference to Arthurian legend, this romance (yes it is considered a romance) misses the mark for me. While I appreciate it for its classical fortitude, I found the themes and characters to be redundant. Visually stunning and graphic, SGatGK does excel in its articulation and descriptions.
Find a good translation, people, that will also make or break this reading and is a must if you are not apt at reading in Old English.
