The mc was so clueless and dumb and annoying. The plot was so predictable and not enjoyable the third act drama of him stealing her manuscript? Obviously going to happen. I can't believe she didn't properly fight back and why leave it for the last 5% of the story?

Could not get into it, the pace was so slow and there really wasn’t a plot in place for me to follow along or really even care what was going on.

Review:
Another book I had high expectations for that unfortunately did not deliver, I did like this but it felt like a chore to get through. The romance felt like it came from nowhere & we were well over 250 pages and it just felt very slow in parts, even when I was really enjoying it. If their relationship had been more developed this would've been a 5 star read. But, for all of that, I still liked it, especially the ending.
