This took me a bit of time to get into, but once I did, I really really loved it. Loved the romance and the spice. I also loved seeing Persephone’s character develop.

New Greece is the city where celestials can make their appearances among humans. You can walk into a nightclub and bump into a Greek God to make a deal or gain his favor.
Even though she is divine, Persephone seeks an earthly life among humans, wants to study for a degree, and taste some freedom from her mother's bonds. One rebellious night with her companion, she ends up sharing her time with the last person she would have wanted, and her life is never the same again.
Persephone is not the woman we are used to, while Hades is not the heartless man he is always portrayed as. In this retelling, we can see how their fates come together and make them coincide in a poetic way, beautiful but also full of tension and challenges to overcome.
It went straight into my favorite retellings and I consider it to be one of the best I've read of them. I loved not only the interaction between this couple but how other great Greek characters that I missed overlapping become part of their lives. Not only am I in awe of the chemistry of these characters, but I was also blown away by their growth. You feel like you are in a familiar but completely alien world. The environment described is a revolution in your senses as you go from one to the other in a matter of seconds. I am mesmerized by this universe and its characters.
Hades is a trap that only envelops you with his words and his touch. But it is a beautiful trap that makes you cry and blush like never before.

Aun siendo divina, Persephone busca una vida terrestre entre los humanos, quiere estudiar una licenciatura y probar un poco de libertad de las ataduras de su madre. Una noche de rebeldía con su compañera, termina compartiendo su tiempo con la última persona que ella hubiera querido, y su vida no vuelve a ser la misma.
Persephone no es la mujer a la que estamos acostumbrados, mientras que Hades no es el desalmado que siempre pintan. En este recuento podemos ver como se une su destino y los hace coincidir de una manera poética, hermosa pero también llena de tensión y retos que superar.
Entró directamente a mis recuentos favoritos y considero que es de los mejores que he leído de ellos. Amé no solamente la interacción entre esa pareja, sino como van formando parte de su vida otros grandes personajes griegos que extrañaba coincidir. No solamente estoy maravillada con la química de estos personajes, sino que también me quedé pasmada con el crecimiento de estos. Te sientes en un mundo familiar pero completamente ajeno. El ambiente descrito es una revolución en tus sentidos ya que pasas de uno a otro en cuestión de segundos. Estoy hipnotizada con este universo y sus personajes.
Hades es una trampa que solamente te envuelve con sus palabras y su toque. Pero es una hermosa trampa que te hace llorar y sonrojar como nunca antes lo habías hecho.
