Sarah's Key

This book started off with intrigue and ended with a fizzle. The story of Julia was too cheesy for me and I wished there was more about Sarah.

I loved it, fictional book about a little girl during the 1942 Paris roundups and how her life affected so many.
emotional sad

I'm not going to write a review. Just read this one: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/39494225?book_show_action=true&from_review_page=1

Didn't hold my interest.

One of the best things I've read in a long time.
emotional hopeful lighthearted sad slow-paced

I couldn't stop reading once I started. The story is so interesting & tugs at your heartstrings. There are parts of this book that are really hard to read. I had to google some things mentioned in the book because the author said that some of the events were true, but the story & it's characters are entirely fiction. The reason I actually bought this book had to do with my name being on it, and the cover. It turned out to be a great read. I highly recommend it.
emotional mysterious reflective sad

Beautifully written and with so much love around a devastating time.
