This book was… fine? It’s in the same vein as Lucy Foley’s books but just didn’t do it for me. It dragged on in parts and there were so many characters who weren’t very unique from one another, and they were all one-dimensional. They all felt like celebrity cliches.
After I finished reading this book, I discovered that Ellery Lloyd is a pseudonym for a husband/wife writing team. It made a lot of sense that this books was written by a duo instead of one writer. While entertaining, it lacked any sort of soul or depth

Dnf'd. The premise is simple, where two bothers are opening their latest high-end, celebrity club. The flashback chapters are so long that I forgot I wasn't reading the present timeline. Not for me.
