Dnf'd. The premise is simple, where two bothers are opening their latest high-end, celebrity club. The flashback chapters are so long that I forgot I wasn't reading the present timeline. Not for me.

I think it would be easy to dismiss this book as too light, but for those who don’t give up, it has an unexpected punch.

I wasn’t able to get into this one. Murder mystery/ conspiracy and blackmail.
Meh

The Club is the story of opening weekend for an ultra-exclusive new hotel -Island Home-on a secluded island off the coast of England.

Multiple POV we follow Jess --New Head of Housekeeping, Annie -- Head of Membership; Nikki -- Admin Assistant to the CEO Ned and; Adam --Owner and Ned's little brother.

The book opens with two unknown characters trying to flee the island, ultimately drowning as the road was impassable. The story goes back and forth between opening weekend and 'present day' spinning a web of secrets, extortion and murder. All the narrator's have something to hide and are suspect to the reader to have caused the disappearance of Ned, Home's CEO.

I enjoyed the multiple view points and the jumping back and forth between the two time periods as it unravels the secrets of the Home employees and guests. Some predictable twists and turns, and others were more surprising.

A great read for the beach! Full of surprises. Loved it.
