This one wasn’t for me. Too many details about fake celebrities and characters that were hard to keep track of (thank you Laura for alerting me to the character list in the front). I didn’t find the murder(s) that compelling so much so that I just assumed the main money man was dead from the start.

3.5 ⭐️ This was a fun and easy murder mystery. Very reminiscent of The Guest List, so if you liked that, you would probably enjoy this. A little predictable once you get to the big reveal, but still a good time.

It wasn’t terrible but I couldn’t get invested enough in the characters to really care who killed who.

This was a fun read but it felt like the setup took longer than the actual plot of the book and it was hard to get into with all of the descriptions. Exclusive fancy island for rich people; I can fill in the blanks. Once you get to the part of the story where it starts to unfold it’s a fun and quick read. It wasn’t a bad book at all. A solid average read.

I really liked this one. I guessed most of the twists, but not all of them, and the pacing was really good. It really kept me interested.
