Need to do emotional deep work so need to find the right time. To give to it . Will revisit before the end of the year. Feeling more fiction and memoirs at the moment .

I’m new to Gabby Bernstein, and so far her material really works for me.  If you don’t find it easy or natural to be a positive person (like me) and need guidance to get there then I think this book can help you.

I am judgmental, a grudge-holder. I strive to be more compassionate with myself and others. This book gives six steps that, when practiced, lead one away from judgment and towards live.

While I’ve not begun my own judgment detox, having read this book over the past week, I plan to go back and follow the steps. Journaling and meditation are two practices I’ve long wanted to do successfully, and tapping has interested me after hearing about it over the past year or two. Bernstein’s approach - giving real life examples, then easy to follow instructions - makes this an accessible guide to the reader.

Thank you to NetGalley for a review copy of this book.

I really like what Gabby Bernstein is going. It's like A Course in Miracles - Lite, which in the most part is a good thing because it makes it a bit more accessible than the full course. I thought the tapping part would be better done by directing to a YouTube video rather than describing it in text.

I appreciate that she brings attention to EFT tapping, meditation, and journaling; however, I feel like in order to cater to religious and non-religious people alike she ends up diluting her message and becoming more surface-level and vague. For those who don't believe in the spiritual, they won't buy in to a huge chunk of the book, and those who are religious I would imagine they would have a hard time getting on board with the more spiritual woo-woo elements.

I do think the parts regarding journaling about judgment could be useful for everyone.
