Supernatural thrillers aren’t really my thing, but I love Meghan O’Brien (Queen of Steam), and I’m working through her library, so Wild is up. I LOVED IT. The characters have depth, the sex is hot, and it was a page turner. Life’s like a box of shapeshifters … you never know what’s going to happen! Highly recommend!

Supernatural meets detective story with a VERY strong dash of lesbian erotica.

The characters aren't as engaging as they could be and the connection between the leads has a supernatural explanation but it didn't quite work for me. I also feel like the story spent a little too much time in the mind of a serial killer who hates women, which sometimes made the sex scenes feel weirdly out of place.

If you like werewolves and unexplained psychic links that lead to hot sex this is the book for you. Just be warned that there is lots of violence against women and similar triggering content.

This story was cute... a hell of a lot cuter than I was expecting actually. I like that it didn't get super focused on the dark murderous aspects but still covered the POV of the killer. I like the dominant aspects of Selene... so it was a little surprising that at the end she was more docile and subby...but yeah, I enjoyed this one.

More than 5 stars. I usually don’t like unnatural books, but this one...... Wauw!! It even had me crying because I felt The love and panic and the urge and the connection. And the book was also hot because..well its a Meghan O’ Brien. This is number 5 in my top 10.

July 2019 Listened to the audio version on audible. It was my first one. I’m more a reading person, it gives me more fantasy. But it was well done.

What should have been a fun, sexy, and fluffy (despite the true crime/serial killer POV and turns) read was a bit ruined for me by characters making ASTRONOMICALLY STUPID decisions. If a giant flashing neon sign appears in front of the readers eyes saying "WOW I HOPE THE SERIAL KILLER DOESN'T SHOW UP HERE, THAT WOULD BE WILD," you probably shouldn't do that.

But I always like werewolves, and dogs, of which there were plenty of both.

i really enjoyed this. i picked it up because i realized that alexandra wilde is abby craden, reading (best guess) more erotica-like stories, and i love her narration, and also WEREWOLVES. i love werewolves. they are my favorite horror/fantasy/creature probably and there aren't enough stories that hit them the way i enjoy them, especially not sapphic ones. this is sllllightly less werewolf and more shifter with werewolf elements, but it's close enough that i had a good time.

this did have more erotica sex scenes than maybe your average romance novel, but it is def very heavy on plot and character stuff. i sort of expected more, tbh but only because i don't read a lot of erotica and don't know what to expect, i guess. i don't know if this even qualifies?? the plot has to do with a serial killer and (possible, though never happens on page, only is threatened as something that might happen) rape. so, beforewarned, you do get a few short chapters in the killer's pov and this is largely a story about stalking, a serial killer case, AND set in between, a love story between a lonely shapeshifter and a forensic pathologist with trust baggage issues.

i really liked both selene and eve as characters, and their dynamic (though very fast) was really fun to delve into. i found jack, eve's cheating ex and a cop, to be really fucking irritating, but she made sense, character-wise. i adoooored the voices alexandra/abby gave to eve and selene. i have no idea if selene's voice is actually kinda italian sounding, but what it does sound is hot and dreamy and lovely. to my ear, at least. overall, i enjoyed this and i'd rec it. i'd like to see a sequel, honestly. i think there is setup where we could see selene and eve learning more about selene's powers and their relationship develop further, but it doesn't leave the reader feeling unsatisfied.

I experienced this book in audio form and It was amazing. Alexandria Wilde has a soothing voice that draws me in!! The scenes between Selene and Eve were sensual and romantic for me though I have no experience with lesbian sex:)..There was some suspenseful scenes as well that got my heart racing for a different reason(man that car scene!). I know this book is years old but I hope the author continues their story some day.
