a delightful romp with a man who is very comfortable being himself.

Can a real person be your book boyfriend? Love hearing all about Nick’s life and how he got to where he is. He’s so talented and it comes across abundantly in this read. He makes you laugh and cry in all the ways at the right moments. Highly recommend.

I liked that the author was also the narrator for the audiobook, I think that made a huge difference. The biggest takeaway for me was that he seemed like a great guy trying to do good by the people around him, but he wasn’t always that way. (Also don’t be an actor)

An enjoyable listen, I would recommend it to Parks and Rec super fans but honestly that’s kind of it.

Nick Offerman is one of those individuals that you feel like you know just from seeing him act. After listening to this book (because why wouldn't you have the man himself tell you his tale) I found that as with most people he is so much more then you could ever imagine. To have a man love me as strongly and uniquely as Nick loves his wife Megan is the dream. Truly a great individual!!

A pleasant read. Offerman is definitely someone that would be fun to share a beer and a steak with... and his writing suggests the stories between sips and bites would be a lot of fun to hear.

It fails a little in the task it proclaims to undertake: advice on how to live "deliciouisly." Really it's just a fairly uneventful memoir of a guy with great parents, a wife he loves, a hobby he adores, and a job which suits him fine. The advice boils down to "be lucky and don't be an a**hole." It worked for him!

I liked it overall, although it wasn't something I would typically read.

I highly recommend listening to this on audiobook, since Nick Offerman is the perfect narrator for his own book. It was full of anecdotes about life, performance and work, and had a good mix of vulgar humor mixed throughout. I really enjoyed this one!

Listened to it as an audio book (of course). It ended up being soothing background noise, for the most part. I'd tune in, pay attention for a story or two, and then tune back out. Nothing to write home about, really. I could have listened to him talk about Megan and Parks and Rec all day, but everything else was just mildly intriguing.
