“There is no hope. And if it’s die now or die later, I choose later.”

This has got to be one of the masterpieces ever written. I have no favorite author, but Holly Jackson just made it to the list.

I cannot stress enough how Jackson can make her characters so alive that I forget they’re even fictional to begin with. The plot is also amazing, and that’s just me not exaggerating it; however, it’s the way we get inside Jet’s head and her motivations is what made this book unforgettable for me. Not to mention, how much I relate to her own inner struggles just made Jet’s character very dear to me.

Despite the love I have for this book,
I was not that satisfied with the ending, which explains the 4.75 rating. Not because of Jet’s death—this one’s pretty much determined already and it would be sooo anti-climactic if she survived—but because of the way it just cut off at the end, like “That’s it?”

Anyway, I sacrificed my sleep for this and it was totally worth it. Highly recommend!
