I love these chaos babies with my entire soul. This book is more unhinged than the first, but the love between Percy and Joe remains a constant throughout. Enjoy the ride friends.

Listen, y'all. Indie authors sometimes have a hard time reaching readers because they don't have the PowerHouse of a publishing house behind them.

If you somehow stumbled upon WH Lockwood or someone recommended these books to you or the algorithm found you, then you are in the right place. There's no way you are here by accident.

This is the duology for you. I promise.

There's no way you won't enjoy the gorgeous, gothic, spooky, sexy ambience.

There's absolutely no way you won't fall in love with both Percy and Joe. You will love (and hate) everything they do and how they do it (wink wink).

Go back to the first one, get started there, and have a great time!

This was honestly the most unhinged book I've ever read. This whole series. I feel like I don't have the words to truly describe the reading experience except: think of the most self-indulgent concept and characters you could ever have and put them in a book with several, continuous, life-changing and life endangering scenarios. Normally, I would also never be into fastburn but it works for these two because they're just crazy. I was also just perpetually stressed reading this because I saw the 'major character death' content warning and spent the whole book dreading it. I do think there are some inconsistencies plot and character-wise but it is definitely one of those books where you have the suspend all disbelief because the entirety of this was just WILD. I had fun though and I think that was worth it in the end.

Percy and Joe... ARE BACK and, they're about embark on their craziest adventure yet!

First up - AMAZING cover! The boys looks fantastic and this is an actual scene from the book!

I didn't think it would be possible to love these characters even more than I did but here I am - heart full... yes, I know so cliché!

Percy is our lovable, extremely morally grey character and yet, I'd love him as a best friend.

Joe is our loveable, risk-adverse (usually!) character and I loved seeing the 'other side' of him.

You easily see why these 2 are together and the amount of character development with Joe is utterly amazing. He is totally different to the Joe we met in Book 1. I feel Percy has mellowed a bit but he's still very much... err Percy.

The story is brilliant as the pair try to help a friend and steal yet another painting and there are so many one liners in here and statements by the gorgeous Percy that has me either snorting or laughing like crazy.

I started to highlight all my favourite quotes half way through so I need to reread and highlight the first half - so, so many favourite quotes!

There is A LOT of spice in this one (as there was previously) so if you are closed door reader then I reckon you can easily jump over these bits and still enjoy the story.

The formating in the book is absolutely fantastic with illustrations, random drawings and utterly hilarious titles, it makes for a truly unique ride!

I honestly can't sing the praises for this one highly enough... although, given how this ends... I feel there may still be trouble brewing for the pair 😆 🤣.

Another absolutely ridiculous and fabulous installment in the adventures of Percy and Joe. A fantastic ending - or will we get more??? We can only hope (and beg)!

It was so good getting to read more Percy and Joe! They are still as unhinged as ever–particularly Percy–not that I would ever expect him to change. I also loved that we got more of Althea and Leo, they were super sweet, though also fairly deranged 😂

Following the trend of book 1, a lot of things happen in this book, each one crazier than the last. I found myself asking myself a couple times "wth just happened?", and I mean this in a good way.
It was funny, silly and spicy, and I really hope this is not the last we're seeing of Percy and Joe. Though the epilogue might hint at something more (and also, I f*cking knew it! Foolish Percy! smdh) so we'll see!

I have received a free copy of this book to read and review and this is my honest opinion.

If you know me, you know that Sinful Crimes for the Artistically Inclined was one of my favorite books of last year. Percy and Joe with their banter and unhingedness truly won my heart, mind and soul like I think of this book weekly. So I was incredibly nervous about if this final book was going to meet my expectations and everyone, it absolutely did.

Yes, we still have the banter and silliness and unhingedness we got in the first book, but this book is so much heavier. The stakes and consequences are so much higher but Percy and Joe and their love is even deeper than before. Their love for each other, friends I can’t even describe how magical it is to read. It’s healing for me I think.

And I need to give a huge shoutout to chapter 58 because I think that chapter is so beautiful and really really healed something in me and is now one of my favorite chapters I’ve ever read. That chapter deserves seven million and six stars if I’m honest.

Overall, I will miss this story and these boys with my whole heart and based on that ending, I’m BEGGING for them to be in this author’s next series like PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE 🥺🥺

Thank you again to the author for allowing me to have an arc and indulging me when I was blowing up your dms 🫶🏻

This is a hard review to write without spoilers. So I finally decided to just write how this book made me feel, with very little context. Can you tell the scenes based on my reactions?
😍 So happy to see Percy and Joe together and doing crime! Absolutely hilarious. And feral Joe when he thought he lost Percy? My god, one of the best scenes ever.
😣 So annoyed at Joe. Really Joe? Really? You are a complete idiot. Seriously, this is seance 101. Ugh! I was completely agreeing with Leo when he was bashing you. Then I forgave you because like Percy, I love you.
🥰 SWOON! Best romantic scene ever. Epic confession of undying love in the face of death. Seriously this needs to be a movie so I can see this scene acted out. Preferably by Henry Cavil and Chris Hemsworth.
☺️ Happy! Everyone is together and getting along! Mostly.
💪🏻 Of course Percy will get there in time, he always does. I was not worried at all.
🥺 I should’ve been worried. Percy!
🤩 Oh my god, feral Joe has returned and it’s even more glorious. This is a good look on you Joe. Me likely.
♥️ Everybody finds love and lives happily ever after! I love love!
😱 What. In. The. Actual. F. PERCY! We are back to complete idiocy! You may survive this only for Joe to absolutely murder you, you beautiful maddening man!

Seriously the ending. I can stop thinking about it. “time to come out and meet your new master” is going to haunt me! You are diabolical WH.

This book was amazing, I loved every second of it and I know I’m not the only who hopes to see more of Joe and Percy. 🫶

Great Finale

Brilliant , more shenanigans with Percy and Joe. This book comes with extra zombies and a vengeful ancient witch who is determined to get payback and end the world whilst she's at it . With Leo and Althea along for the ride Percy and Joe have to find a way to save the world without getting themselves killed in the process. The sarcasm and stupidity was even better than book one and yes people that place starting with t and ending with tt is a real place in Scotland.
