I've liked Georgia Clark's writing since reading It Had to Be You. This is a solid, family dramedy/queer Christmas romcom. Putting it away to read again next year...

After a slow start, this book (well, audiobook) held my attention after about 15%. The author was able to intertwine the stories between the three half-siblings rather well. I laughed out loud at some parts, and was touched with some heartfelt moments. For a queer holiday rom-com, this one will be memorable for me. I would give it 4.5 stars.

The story dragged for too long.

This might be my favorite holiday book thus far. It was cozy and the Christmas vibes were everything you’d want. The romance was warm but not cheesy. It touched on a variety if narratives so it didn’t just feel like a brainrot romance. The characters were all lovable and the banter was great. The family dynamic was relatable. And the plot extended to New Year’s, which I appreciate in a Christmas story.

Three stars for three stories? This was a lot to follow, it did have me giggling and kicking my feet but I also was not incredibly invested in any one story.
