Muszę przyznać że to bardzo udana historia. Ross pisze lekko i angażująco.

Beautiful writing, but very dry. I didn’t care for the relationship between Jack and Adaira. It was frustrating to get so close to feeling like something would happen/an answer would be revealed, only to spend chapters and chapters waiting to get any further ahead. It was like one step forward and two steps back.

Oh this book was good. Rebeca Ross writes the most nostalgic, whimsical books. This story felt like frolicking through wild flowers and imagining shapes in the clouds. It feels like a Hozier album. It also broke my heart

I loved this book way more than I thought I would. I really like the writing style from an outside perspective of multiple people and the worldbuilding was really good in my opinion. The writing was a bit less 'echanting' than I am used to from Rebecca Ross but overall it was really beautifully written. Also, I would have personally liked a bit more romance in the book.

I really enjoyed this book. I read this via audiobook, and I definitely think it added to my enjoyment of the book. I did not see the ending coming.. although looking back I see all the clues. I'm definitely looking forward to finishing the duology.

This read like an old fairy tale, which was charming. Some plot points were really obvious though. It was entertaining enough.
