Easy and fast read over a day or two. Good legal drama a slight mix of romance. Nice summer read addition

I really enjoyed this book! It was a quick & easy read and kept me very engaged from the beginning. I felt like a participant in this story and really cared for the characters I read about.

It’s been a while since I couldn’t put a book down. I couldn’t put this one down. Adult material and topic. Story got a hold of me, and I had to follow til the end!

Okay, I did NOT expect to love this book. Especially in the first part of the book when the main characters are referred to as their juror numbers. It dehumanizes them in a way that I’m not sure was necessary. But I do like the shift to then calling them their names in the second half, it adds extra weight to their situations and decisions.

I liked that it wasn’t solely about the case, but about life and death in a completely unrelated way that made the murder have extra heaviness, in a good way.
